Oggi con una coppia di amici Italiani che vivono anche loro a Houston, Lorenzo e Laura siamo andati a fare un giro in un parco posto a SUD di Houston, il Brazos una riserva con parecchi laghi e una ricca vegetazione, il parco e popolato da moltissimi uccelli e alligatori......ma..... vedremo.
Il parco apre alle 8.00 am e dunque decidiamo di partire per le 7.00 am in modo da arrivare quando apre anche perché la giornata e bella soleggiata e calda e ci si impiega circa un'ora di macchina..
Per arrivare abbiamo fatto da prima un tratto di highway (autostrada) e poi strade normali dove si è visto il classico Texas, campi coltivati le vacche dalle lunghe corna e i ranch....
Come tutti i parchi prima di entrare paghiamo i nostri $.7.00 a persona, da con cartina e gps iniziamo il nostro giretto, naturalmente notando subito un bel cartello che ci avete di non avvicinarsi all'acqua e si hanno animali tenerli al guinzaglio, potrebbero diventare uno spuntino per ALLIGATORI.....
Dopo mezzora, sento LUCAAAA HO BUCATO..... Erica gomma posteriore a terra, ci fermiamo vicino ha una torretta di avvistamento e li divento ORSO MECCANICO....
Si avvicina una guardia del parco e ci chiede se abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa.... ma noi cortesemente rispondiamo che abbiamo tutto sotto controllo.
Ci mettiamo a chiacchierare con la guardia e chiediamo meglio se tutti i percorsi sono aperti e lui ci informa che ha causa delle recenti piogge alcuni percorsi sono chiusi perché allagati e poi ci avverte che se vediamo qualche alligatore di non disturbalo (come se andassimo a farli le carezze) in quanto sono disorientati a causa della troppa acqua....... poverini.....
Bene riparata la gomma si riparte e ERICA inizia "mi piacerebbe vedere qualche alligatore.... ma da distante", devo dire che anch'io non aspetto altro.
Il parco e molto bello e la fauna e molto varia....ogni tanto ci sono delle casette con acqua gelata e bichierini monouso, naturalmente l'acqua viene cambiata spesso dalle guardie in modo da garantire che sia sempre BEN GHIACCIATA....
LUCCCCAAAAAAAA HO BUCATO........nooooooooooooooooo......... e vai ORSO MECCANICO in azione.... esamino il copertone e con sorpresa una mega spina, per sicurezza ripasso due tre volte il copertone per essere sicuro che no ci siano altre sorprese........cambio camera d'aria e si riaparte...
ECCO LUI l'animale nominato prima affiora sull'acqua e pian piano si avvicina alla riva per poi sparire..... il primo della serie.... FORSE E L'ORA DELLA PAPPA..
LUCCCAAAAAAAAAAAA HO LA GOMMA A TERRAAA...........noooooooooo ... mi giro e la stessa gomma si e sgonfiata..... HAI qui ORSO MECCANICO si rifiuta di riparare il danno, e si prosegue un 'po in bici dato che la gomma si sgonfiava piano e poi a piedi
E da li a poco la visione, un piccolo alligatore che sonnecchiava all'obra..... il nostro amico Lorenzo se non lo fermo diventa gli và direttamente in bocca.

Today with a couple of Italian friends who also live in Houston, Lorenzo and Laura went for a ride in a park place in South Houston, the Brazos a reserve with many lakes and lush vegetation, the park and populated by many birds and alligators ...... ..... but we'll see.
